The pedometer is a tool item that was added in update v0.03 of The Forest.
Gameplay
When held, the pedometer will display your current number of steps. It doesn't need to be held permanently since it is counting your steps even while in your inventory.
Location
The Pedometer can be found deep inside the Cave 7 - Chasm Cave. The entrance is located here on the Island. You can find it in the room just before the Tennis Racket, on a tennis player corpse. The room is guarded by a Virginia and several cannibals.
Trivia
- On previous versions of the game, the Pedometer could be found directly inside the plane.
- The pedometer used to look like a mobile phone, it also showed the temperature. However this was removed in v0.21.
